NTFS for Mac not working after migrating to a new Mac

I bought a new MacBook Pro recently and migrated data from my old Mac to it. However, neither of my two NTFS-formatted external drives used for backing up photos, videos, and other data that I don't need on my computer mounts properly now. I can still mount them in read-only mode, which lets me view the files already on them. But I can't add new files or delete old ones. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall NTFS for Mac, but it didn't work. Is there another solution out there?

Try updating the NTFS for Mac tool you have installed.

Is your new MacBook Pro Apple Silicon based or has a different operating system? It's possible that the NTFS for Mac software isn't compatible with the new macOS or chip on your MacBook Pro. You can check its official website to see whether your Mac is officially supported and install the latest NTFS driver update if available.

If it still doesn't allow you to add new files or delete old files, try iBoysoft NTFS for Mac. It's fully compatible with macOS Vetnura ~ macOS 10.13 High Sierra and built for both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. It enables write access for NTFS drives on Mac, allowing you to do everything with the files and folders inside: add, delete, edit, rename, etc.
