Can I Use A SanDisk iXpand Drive On An iPhone Without An Adapter?

I want to know if apfs encrypted sandisk ixpand usb drive works in the Files app on the latest iOS 14.2 without the lighting to usb 3 camera adapter? Because I’m thinking of buying Sandisk ixpand USB drive if only it works otherwise I will not buy that product because I want no one else to get access into my USB drive. If it works then I will borrow a Mac from someone else to encrypt my ixpand USB drive.

Hi there, you cannot use the SanDisk iXpand USB drive on an iPhone without a Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. If you want to use this SanDisk iXpand USB drive on your iPhone device, a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter, USB-C to SD Card Camera Reader, or Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader is indispensable.
