Repair Mac Fusion Drive the Whole or the Volume One by One with Disk Utility?

My Mac internal Fusion Drive shows Container Disk 2 then under Macintosh HD and Macintosh HD-Data. If something is wrong with it, which way is better to run Disk Utility, repair the whole drive, or the individual volumes?

Hello, just run Disk Utility with each volume, and then each container and the device of your Fusion Drive is better. Please follows:

  1. Finder > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility.
  2. Select the volume(your Macintosh HD and Macintosh HD-Data) in the sidebar then click the First Aid at the top pf the menu.
  3. Click Run and follow the onscreen instructions.
  4. Click Done after the repair process is complete.
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each volume on the left sidebar.
  6. Select the Container and click First Aid then Run and click Done.
  7. Select the storage device and click First Aid then Run and click Done.
