[Fixes] Files of External Hard Drive not Showing On Mac

I bought my first MacBook and used a Seagate 1TB external hard drive on it, but there isn't any file in the Finder. I used it on my PC computer and it shows the NTFS file system. Should I change the format of it or other ways I can do it?
